Reset the password for your Microsoft account
If you forgot the password for the Microsoft account that you associated with Office, you can reset it at http//account.live.com/resetpassword.
Follow the prompts to reset your password.
- Go to http//login.live.com and sign in with your existing username and password.
- Select Security > Change password.
- Follow the instructions to enter your current password, then type new password you want, and then enter the conforming password again.
- Select Save.
